Distribution of Widow Allowance and Adult Allowance in Public Paticipation in Open Procedure

Beneficiaries are selected through the Union Committee under the Social Security Closer (Social Safety Net Program) through upazila social services office and upazila women's affairs office and the government allocation is distributed among the beneficiaries. As a result, transparency and accountability in the selection process is neglected in many ways. For this reason, autism opulence and corrupt activities are often seen in the selection of actual beneficiaries. As a result, people's money is wasted instead of implementing the government's objectives and goals, and development is hampered by obstructing the availability / gain of the poor people.The Deputy Commissioner, Pabna completed a unique selection process to break this agitation. Under the presence of the District and Upazila administration officials, local public representatives, representatives of civil society, electronic and print media, on 24/03/2010, under the Upazila Social Welfare Office, 41 persons of the eighteennasia union were selected by selecting the actual adult and later each year Tk 3000 / - (three thousand) is paid. On the same day, the selection process was completed to pay the 3000 Taka (3 thousand) to 63 widows of the union under the Upazila Women Affairs Office.
